Salads need not be boring! Chopping up a few lettuce leaves and tomatoes are certainly not the limits when it comes to creating your own keto salad. This here recipe will provide a rainbow of ingredients that combine in the most delicious and low carb salad platter.

Ingredients List:

  •  Olive Oil (Extra Virgin)
  •  Lemon Juice (Fresh or Concentrated)
  • Mustard (1 teaspoon)
  • Fresh or Powdered Garlic (optional)
  • Herbs for seasoning
  •  Ham (100g)
  • Blue Cheese (30g)
  •  Eggs (2) (Hardboiled)
  • ½ Avocado (Diced)
  • Bacon (2 strips)
  • 1 ½ cups of Lettuce (Romaine preferably)
  • 3 cherry tomatoes

Equipment List:

  • Saucepan
  • Serrated Knife

  • 7g Carbohydrates
  • 27g Fat
  •  46g protein

Method:

1. Hard boil the eggs
2. Cube the ham and fry it for five minutes in a non-stick saucepan (drizzle olive oil
over your pan first)
3. Slice up the hard boiled eggs
4. Arrange the lettuce at the base of the bowl
5. Slice up your salad and arrange the food as preferred
6. Mix your olive oil, mustard, herbs and lemon juice together in a jug
7. Drizzle this dressing over your salad
8. If you wish to further lower the carbs in this meal, reduce or eliminate the tomatoes from the salad
