chicken green beans mushrooms recipe


This little meal makes for a great light lunch and is incredibly quick and simple to prepare. Spices such as turmeric and herbs such as basil work beautifully with this meal and will further stimulate your taste buds.

Ingredients List:

  •  Sea Salt
  • Onions
  •  Fresh Mushrooms
  •  Green Beans
  • Olive Oil (preferably extra virgin)

Equipment List:

  • Saucepan
  •  Serrated Knife
  •  Cooking Spatula

Green Beans:

  • 33 kcal
  •  7g Carbohydrates
  • 1g Fat
  • 2g Protein


1. Thoroughly wash 500 or so grams of green beans and a handful of mushrooms
with cold water
2. Slice beans and mushrooms into thinner and smaller pieces
3. Chop up one small onion
4. Oil a medium sized saucepan and fry your onions on a relatively low heat
5. Fry the onions for approximately five minutes
6. Add a small amount of salt, herbs and spices (to your preference)
7. Add in the washed green beans and mushrooms
8. Simmer for half an hour
9. Add additional water if required
10. When the beans are soft, the meal is ready
